I am delighted to have been elected to represent Castle Ward alongside Councillor Hendry.  In particular, I am proud to be one of four women Labour Councillors, making up 50% of our Group.

I am married with three children under the age of nine.  I am qualified as a barrister specialising in local government law, planning, housing and human rights.  I have been rated in the Legal 500 and as a leading planning barrister in my age group.

I joined the Labour Party because it prizes equality, fairness and social justice above all else.

I love all things French and speak the language fluently.
