Christine Simpson

I have lived for most of my life in the Stirling area and raised my family here.

I have a broad experience of working in the public sector, both in local government and with the Police and the NHS in my role as Inter-agency Child Protection Training Co-ordinator for Forth Valley.  I was first elected as a Councillor in 2012, serving as Convener of the Social Care & Health Committee from 2012-2017 and I remain a member of this Committee.  In 2017 I was unanimously elected as Provost.

I am a Graduate of Edinburgh and Stirling Universities and have served in a voluntary capacity on the Stirling Children’s Panel and on the Executive Committee of Family Mediation Central Scotland.
