I was born and raised in Stirling. After attending Cambusbarron Primary School and Stirling High School I studied Publishing at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and History and Politics at Stirling University where I graduated with Honours.
My professional background includes 9 years working for the local Tourist Board and establishing my own tourism business supplying guidebooks and arranging tours and vacations for tourists from North America.
