Mark Ruskell

Mark is the first ever Green Party representative to be elected to Stirling Council. This is his second elected office having previously served as an MSP for Mid-Scotland and Fife between 2003-2007.  He is also one of 4 Bailies providing a civic function within the Council area.

Away from politics he has worked in fields as diverse as renewable energy, community development, farming and conservation. He is married with two sons and lives near Doune and enjoys cycling when time allows.

Mark is always keen to hear from constituents, his surgeries rotate around the ward during the year, but he is also happy to discuss issues at other times, either face to face or via phone or email.
