About the school
Gargunnock Primary School is set in an enviable location amidst extensive and attractive grounds close to the edge of the village of Gargunnock. The school is co-educational and non-denominational.
The communal areas are colourful and welcoming to visitors with attractive displays relating to various aspects of school life. Each classroom is brightly painted and equipped with an interactive whiteboard, and displays the learning of the children creatively.
The school benefits from spacious grounds which include expansive playing fields, a netball court, a fenced garden area, vegetable beds, willow tunnels and playground climbing equipment. Pupils also enjoy selecting items from the play cages such as footballs, skipping ropes and hula hoops.
Education Scotland has responsibility for evaluating the quality of pre-school education, all schools, teacher education, community learning and development, further education and local authorities. They also publish reports about services for children and evaluate child protection services.
Each school has it own geographic area called a catchment area. Normally, your child will attend your local catchment school. If you wish your child to attend a school other than the catchment school you are required to make a placing request.
