Report praises improvements in children's services

Customer First Office Re-Opened

Following the flooding in Stirling town centre on Tuesday 6th October, we are pleased to advise the Customer First has re-opened.  All services which operate from Customer First are available, however it will be necessary to temporarily relocate the Registrars service over the next few days. Confucius Classroom Opens in Stirling

A ‘Confucius Classroom’ designed to teach Scottish pupils about Chinese culture and language launched this week at Stirling High School.It is one of 21 established across Scotland since 2008, with a focus on the teaching of the Mandarin language. Improvements to Schools Over Summer

Every year, as soon as the staff and pupils go off on their summer break, Stirling Council’s Infrastructure Development Team move in to carry out building improvement works across the education estate. The seven week holiday period allows the team to carry out intrusive works without disrupting learning and teaching and ensuring that health and safety risks are minimised. SVE Annual Awards a Success

Over 150 people recently celebrated SVE's annual Volunteer Award Ceremony held in the Albert Halls in Stirling. This year’s theme was 'Inspiring Volunteers' and included 12 categories for individuals, teams and projects.
