Homelessness Partnership - Stirling

The Partnership

Stirling’s Homelessness Partnership is a multi-agency working group which seeks to prevent and address homelessness.  Members particularly support the following priorities:

  • The need to investigate and develop housing and support initiatives to address the requirements of challenging individuals and groups,
  • The need to reduce barriers between agencies and Council departments and increase effective joint working,
  • The need to actively help partners to maintain and develop effective services, including assistance to secure funding where possible, and
  • The need to monitor the impact of welfare reforms and, if necessary, consider changes to service delivery in order to mitigate the effects on homeless households.

Stirling Council participates in the Tayside, Fife and Central Housing Options Hub.  The Hub has a website which contains details of a range of organisations and projects providing services for homeless households.
