New Roles

The management structure arranged over four service areas to provide senior leadership to deliver key priorities and outcomes.

The Services are:

  • Housing and Environment
  • Communities and Partnerships
  • Children, Young People and Education
  • Corporate Operations.

A Director leads each Service and works with the Chief Executive across the organisation to deliver Council priorities and outcomes. These posts underpin the agenda for driving transformational change internally by developing the culture, systems and processes and externally leading the development of relationships with partners and communities.

Education

The Education Service, is delivered in partnership with neighbouring Clackmannanshire Council, will be led by the Director of Children, Young People and Education.

Social Services

Social Services is also delivered in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council.

In addition, a Senior Manager within the Chief Executive's office works closely with the senior management team to effectively communicate changes, highlight best practice and celebrate our successes.

The structure will ensure Stirling Council continues to effectively and efficiently deliver our agreed priorities while future-proofing our organisation and becoming an employer of choice.
