The school’s under-18 girls have clinched their place in the Scottish Cup final after a thrilling semi-final victory on penalties over Lasswade High at Broxburn on Thursday.
They will now meet St Ninian’s HS from Giffnock at the National Stadium on Thursday, 9th May – the first time the girls’ Scottish Cup final has been played at the home of our national sport.
Wallace are attempting to go one further than last year, when the under-15s became the first team in the history of the school to reach a Scottish Cup final, only to lose narrowly to Lasswade at Alloa.

“I am so proud of the mental strength, resilience and spirit shown by our girls, not just against Lasswade, but in previous rounds against Linlithgow, Queensferry, Carnoustie and Ross High.
“The girls are a fantastic bunch, on and off the pitch, and a delight to work with. They deserve to play on the Hampden stage and it is something we will never forget.
“We must also give huge thanks to all the staff, parents and partners who have supported the girls and made this wonderful journey possible. We know we’ll have a noisy and passionate support from across the school community and Stirling cheering us on in the final.”
