Report roadside defects

Report roadside defects to Stirling Council

Roadside defects can be dangerous and cause damage or injury. If you see a defect that you think may be a danger to road users, call us on 01786 404040.

"Roadside" refers to anything on the side of the road that is maintained by the council. This can include pavements, trees, verges, fences etc.

For defects that do not pose an immediate threat you can let us know by using the form. We respond to enquiries Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Road defect claims

If you have suffered a loss or injury because of a defect on a road or footpath under the management of Stirling Council, complete a Road and Footway Defect Claim Form.
