Updates relating to all emergency closures across Stirling.
Emergency Closure, Station Road, Killearn
Station Road: From its junction with Balfron Road to its junction with Blane Smithy Roundabout from 1600 hours on 18 November 2020 until 2359 hours on 23 November 2020 to facilitate emergency Scottish Water works.
Alternative Route: Via A81, A875, Main Street, Balfron Road and vice versa
NOTICE IS GIVEN that, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), Stirling Council will
introduce the following parking suspension as an emergency:
Emergency Parking Suspension:
Upper Craigs Outside No’s 31/35 Upper Craigs, Stirling
From 1000 hours on 18-11-20 until 26-11-20 to facilitate the siting of a builders skip, this is in relation to works which were previously cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Emergency Clearway: Invertrossachs Road / C114
Invertrossachs Road and the C114 will have a clearway enforced to prevent indiscriminate parking which is obstructing the road and causing a road safety issue.
Invertrossachs Road: For its entire length, until further notice
C114: For its entire length from 28 August 2020 to 17 September 2020
NOTICE IS GIVEN that, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), Stirling Council will introduce the following temporary one-way system as an emergency:
Emergency One-Way System-Road to be One-Way Permitted Direction
Balfour Crescent for its entire length. Clockwise only
This restriction is required from 18-11-20 until 20-11-20 to ensure public safety at a Covid 19
Mobile Testing Unit.
Emergency Closures - Greenwood Avenue and Back Walk Low Footpath
An emergency closure has been put in place on both Greenwood Avenue and Back Walk Low Footpath. They will be closed from Friday 6th November until Wednesday 18th November. This is due to a dangerous boulder above both the road and footpath which is in danger of collapsing.
Greenwood Avenue is closed from its junction with Royal Gardens to its junction with Victoria Avenue.
Back Walk Lower Footpath is closed from Back Walk Low to the Cemetery and from Greenwood Avenue to Back Walk High. The alternative route is the footpath at Back Walk High, Back Walk Low at the rear of the cemetery and vice versa.
