Braehead and Broomridge Connections
A £170,000 project to improve the walking and cycling network in Braehead and Broomridge
This project forms part of Stirling Council’s Active Travel Action Plan (ATAP), which supports the delivery of the Local Transport Strategy by encouraging and enabling more trips to be made by walking, cycling and public transport.
Funded by Stirling Council and Sustrans Community Links, the project builds on previous path improvements and will see enhanced crossing facilities, road widening and dropped kerbs. Improved signage will make it clearer for cyclists and pedestrians to travel through Braehead and Bannockburn towards both Bannockburn and Stirling centre.
You can see the locations of these improvements on the following plans:
- Braehead & Broomridge Improvements (1)
- Braehead & Broomridge Improvements (2)
- Braehead & Broomridge Improvements (3)
